Michael James “Mike” Tindall is a former English rugby player who is best known for playing outside center for Bath Rugby and Gloucester Rugby. Besides, he is famous for leading the England team as the captain of the team and was also the member of the 2003 World Cup winning squad. Apart from his successful career, he serves himself as the brand ambassador for numerous charity events, organization and for several companies.

James was born on 1978, October 18 in Otley, Yorkshire to the parents Linda Shephard and Philip Tindall. Tindall father also serves himself as an avid rugby player and has captained for Otley back in the days. Tindall attended independent public school Queen Elizabeth Grammar School, Wakefield.
Career Highlights
The lucky at the age of 18 joined Bath directly in 1997 whereas, by 2000, he was an active player for both team and the country. He made his debut against Ireland at Twickenham in 2000. Playing inside and outside the center along with Will Greenwood, he has been outstanding in 2003 Rugby World Cup. However, he missed 2005 Six National followed by his foot injury. Starting with the amateur club Minchinhampton RFC, competing in Gloucester 2, Tindall made his debut as a coach against Gloucester All Blues in October 2014. But before that, he was selected for the Barbarians Squad on their short tour held in May 2012 against England. The player captained the Barbarians against England and was in the replacement against British and Irish Lions.

When it comes to personal life, James seems to be kind of lucky guy as he has the perfect balance between both the lives. He got engaged to Zara Philips, the daughter of the Princess Royal and her first husband Captain Mark Philips. Likewise, Philips is the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. The pair wedded on 30 July 2011 at Canongate Kirk in Edinburgh. While all senior members Royal Family attended the wedding. The couple welcomes their first child as a daughter, Mia Grace Tindall on November 2014.
