Tess Daly is a British model and television presenter whose estimated net worth is $ 4 million. Tess Daly is popular in the fashion world for being the face of lingerie company La Senza in the UK.  She is also better known for co-presenting the BBC one celebrity dancing show Strictly Come Dancing. As a writer, she published her first novel, The Camera Never Lies in 2011. Daly’s Early Life and Career

Tess Daly was born on 27 April 1969 in Stockport to Vivian and Sylvia Daly. She has a younger sister, Karen. Daly joined Hayfield Primary School and later New Mills Secondary School, where she gained 9 O-levels. But her university-level education is still a mystery.

After Tess Daly tuned 18, she undertook her first professional modeling job in Tokyo. After a series of work assignment from Asia and Europe, she was based in Paris for six years but returned to London for six months, before moving to New York for work for five years. Daly appeared for the songs "Serious" and "Violence of Summer (Love’s Taking Over)", in two Duran Duran videos. She was later the face of lingerie company La Senza in the UK. She appeared in their Steal the Show Christmas 2009 campaign.  While she was living in New York, her friend suggested her to interview the celebrity attendees. She bought a camera and her first interview was with New York-based Quentin Crisp, author of The Naked Civil Servant. After few red carpet interviews, Daly sent a short videotape to the producer of Channel 4’s The Big Breakfast, she was immediately contracted to host the Find Me a Model competition. Since 2004, Daly has co-presented BBC One’s Strictly Come Dancing. Kay and Daly co-presented the second series of Just the Two of US in January 2007 on BBC One. Daly has also hosted This Time Tomorrow and the National Lottery on BBC One. Since 2008, she has been presenting the BBC telethon Children in Need with Terry Wogan and Fearne Cotton. On 17 December 2008, Daly co-hosted the Royal Variety Performance. In early 2015, she co-hosted Strictly Come Dancing charity spin-off The People's Strictly for Comic Relief for BBC One. Daly co-hosted Being Mum, a new show for AOL next to  Rochelle Humes in 2015. Daly wrote her first novel The Camera Never Lies, a tale of love behind the scenes, in 2011. It was published by Coronet. Her second book, It's Up to You New York, was published on 2013.

Daly’s Personal Life

On 12 September 2003, Daly married Vemon Kay, DJ and TV presenter, at St Mary's Catholic Church in Horwich, near Bolton. The couple has two daughters. They both live in Fulmer, Buckinghamshire.
