American Big Freedia's birth name Frederick Ross born on 28th January 1978 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Her mother Vera Ross with two siblings (Crystal Ross and Adam Ross) But sadly her mother died in the year 2014. As a child, she worked on a piano and even sang in a choir. Her mother exposes her to artists like Patti LaBelle as well as she was also motivated by the late disco singer namely Micheal Jackson, Sylvester, and Salt-n-Pepa. Big Freedia joins Walter L.
