David Edward Walliams professionally known as David Walliams is an English comedian, better known as a talent-show judge. He is also an author, presenter, and activist actor, also well-known for his partnership with Matt Lucas on the BBC One sketch show Little Britain.  The ITV talent show “Britain’s Got Talent” is also judged by Walliams. He wrote and starred in two series of the BBC One sitcom Big School. He starred as Tommy Beresford in the BBC series Partners in Crime based on the Tommy and Tuppence novels by Agatha Christie. He has also written many children’s book. Till date, more than 12.5 million copies have been sold and his books have been translated into 46 languages. He has also featured in 13 films till date. David’s Early Life and Career

David Walliams was born on August 20, 1971, in London. Walliams was educated at Collingwood Boys' School in Wallington, and Reigate Grammar School in Surrey. He graduated with Bachelor of Arts (Drama) from the University of Bristol. During university holidays he performed with the National Youth Theatre and joined the actors' union named Equity where he changed his stage name to David Walliams.

Walliams performed in the Big Finish Productions Doctor Who audio play “Phantasmagoria”, a science fiction audio series. From 2003 to 2005, Walliams co-wrote and co-starred in three series of the BBC sketch show Little Britain with Matt Lucas which was first aired on BBC Three before moving to the more mainstream BBC One. In 2005, Walliams as a “principal performer” worked in the video for Charlotte Hatherley's single “Bastardo”. Later, Walliams presented a documentary on James Bond entitled David Walliams: My Life with James Bond. Walliams returned to non-comedy television, garnering excellent reviews or his portrayal of a suave and dangerous manipulator in Stephen Poliakoff's Capturing Mary. He portrayed comedian Frankie Howerd in television film ‘Rather You Than Me’. Walliams was the narrator of “Are You Having a Laugh? TV and Disability” on BBC Two. He also narrated the ITV2 series Top Dog Model. Walliams wrote and starred in two series of the BBC One sitcom Big School. Walliams started to make a new film for his BBC sketch show Walliams & Friend. The show also starred Joanna Lumley and Morgana Robinson and premiered on Christmas Eve in 2015. Walliams also hosted the final of New York comedy show Thrills and Spills in late-December 2016. Walliams has been a judge on the ITV talent show called Britain's Got Talent with Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, and Simon Cowell since 2012. He was recognized at the National Television Awards as Best Judge for his involvement in the series.

David Walliams began dating Dutch model Lara Stone in 2009. They got engaged in January 2010 and finally got married on May 16, 2010. They had their first son Alfred, born on May 6, 2013. But by September 2015, Walliams got divorced from Lara Stone, due to "unreasonable behavior". He also suffers from bipolar disorder.
