One of the popular and highest rated television series, Game of Thrones has come to an end after its eighth seasons. The last episode of GOT was aired on May 19, 2019.

Game of Thrones Origination:

This popular drama is based on the storyline of A Song of Ice and Fire. And the drama was created by George R.R. Martin and David Benioff.

To talk about the main theme, Game of Thrones goes by its name as the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and the continent of Essos fight for the Iron Throne.

However, the series is developed a little bit different than the original book. It also reflects the substantial death rates in war. Clearly, GOT has attracted a huge amount of fan base.

Its first episode was aired on April 17, 2011, as HBO presentation. The series consists a total of eight seasons with 73 episodes.

Developed as a war based drama, GOT consists of a huge number of characters. However, the primary goal is an Iron Throne.

Starting the first season out with the head of House of Stark, Eddard "Ned" Stark, the series got main characters like Jon Snow, Sansa Stark, Arya Stark, Bran Stark, Daenerys Targaryen, Cersei Lannister, Jamie Lannister, Tyrion Lannister, and many more.

The killings and separation of families have always been a major factor of the series. However, the drama gets more interesting when the dragons are born by Daenerys Targaryen.

The more of a seven-season being the threat of White Walkers and the power of dragons with Daenerys, also the Mother of Dragons, the powerful threat got destroyed by Arya Stark with an easy move.

Not only that, the eight seasons of the series provides the tragic demise of Daenerys, the Mad Queen who gets stabbed by Jon Snow. Taking the series to an end, Bran Stark become the King of the Six Kingdoms whereas Sansa is the Queen in the North.
