The Career of Danneel Ackles-

Before she started acting, Danneel worked as a model for companies like Big Sexy Hair and Juicy Jeans. She appeared in her first TV commercial. In 2003, she got her first acting job on the soap opera One Life to Live, playing Shannon McBain. She moved to New York for the role but left the show in December 2004. After that, Danneel appeared in different TV shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, JAG, Charmed, What I Like About You, NCIS, and Joey. Danneel's first movie role was in a short film called The Plight of Clownana.

In 2005, Danneel got a big role on the show One Tree Hill as Rachel Gatina, a troublemaker in the town of Tree Hill. She was a regular on the show's fourth season but only appeared in two episodes of the fifth season. In 2009, she came back to the show for seven episodes in the seventh season. Talks for her return in the eighth season didn't work out due to scheduling conflicts.

In January 2007, Danneel starred in the movie Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. The filming happened in Louisiana. Even though the movie made a lot of money, it got mostly bad reviews. Danneel was also in the third Harold & Kumar movie in 2011. She had small roles in Fired Up! and The Back-up Plan in 2009 and 2010. In May 2009, she acted in The Roommate, a thriller about a college student with an obsessive roommate. The film was shot at the University of Southern California and came out in 2011, making over $40 million worldwide despite bad reviews. Danneel was also in the pilot episode of a sitcom called Friends with Benefits in 2009, but the show didn't get picked up.

In 2012, Danneel started using the name Danneel Ackles professionally. She had a recurring role on the TV Land show Retired at 35. Then in 2017, it was announced she would be on the show Supernatural. She also acted in a Lifetime movie called The Christmas Contract in 2018 with some of her former One Tree Hill co-stars. Recently, Danneel and her husband Jensen Ackles started a production company called Chaos Machine Productions with Warner Bros. Television.
