Robin Thicke is a son of Alan Thicke and Gloria Loring. His mother is an American actress-singer. Where his father was Canadian actor. Sadly he left the world in 2016. Robin grew in Los Angeles, California.

Thicke said to Billboard, "I decided, I was going to save money to make my album, in which I hoped to offer it to labels take it or leave it so I didn't have to negotiate how to make my music." that was accepted by many people.

He was busy with working on his sophomore album. His financial and creative disagreements stemming from the performance of his first album led to a several-month-long stalemate between Robin and his record label.In the world of singing, Robin Thicke is a renowned name, acknowledged globally.

In March 2015, T.I. was cleared but Robin Thicke and Pharrell Williams found guilty of unlawfully copying "Got to Give It Up" so  A Los Angeles jury has decided that Robin and co-songwriter Pharrell Williams should pay Gaye's family around $7.3 million according to the order given by the jury. Later Judge has decreased the amount from $7.3 million to 5.3 million in the condition that Robin has to give 50 percent of the song's future royalties to Gaye.The verdict was put to rest over a year's worth of legal back and forth between Thicke and Gaye's estate, in which the settlement was done around $25 million in damages.". due to which its been controversy for Robin’s career.
