Sylvester Stallone was born on July 6, 1946, in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood, of Manhattan, New York City. His father’s name is Frank Stallone, Sr. who was a hairdresser and beautician and his mother’s name is Jacqueline “Jackie” Stallone who was an astrologer, former dancer, and promoter of women’s wrestling. He is the eldest son and he has a younger brother Frank Stallone who is actor and musician.

He attended Notre Dame Academy and Lincoln High School in Philadelphia, and Charlotte Hall Military Academy. After his graduation, Stallone eventually went on to college. Then, he first attended the American College in Switzerland where he studied drama and then went to the University of Miami where again he focused on the dramatic arts. Then he left school before completing his degree and moved to New York City to start his acting career.
