The Career of Shoaib Akhtar-

In November 1997, Shoaib Akhtar made his debut as a fast bowler in Test cricket and three months later played his first One Day International (ODI) match. Throughout his career, he was involved in various controversies and was often suspected of unethical conduct, despite his reputation for making significant contributions to Pakistan's victories. In the year 2005, Shoaib was sent home during a Test series in Australia due to alleged poor attitude. A year later, he faced a drug scandal after testing positive for the performance-enhancing substance "Nandrolone". However, the ban imposed on him was later overturned on appeal.

In 2007, Shoaib received another ban. On April 1, 2008, he was disqualified for more than five years for openly criticizing the Pakistan Cricket Board. However, the Lahore High Court in Pakistan later suspended this ban, and Shoaib Akhtar was included in the 15-man squad for the T20 Quadrangular Tournament in Canada in 2008. Rana Bhagwandas, a Pakistani judge, once referred to Shoaib as a true legend of cricket. Shoaib Akhtar eventually retired from cricket after the 2011 World Cup. Akhtar holds the record for bowling the fastest ball at a speed of 161.3 km/h in a match against England. Shoaib Akhtar's fiery bowling had a significant impact on many matches. He played a crucial role in Pakistan's victories, often providing breakthroughs with his raw pace and generating fear among opposition batsmen.
