Chandler Riggs started acting when he was four years old. His early work is The Wizard of Oz where he plays a Munchkin in his theater. At the age of five, he played in the indie horror film Jesus H. Zombie. At age nine, he was cast in his first two film roles in 'Get Low' as Tom and in the television film 'The Wronged Man' as seven-year-old Ryan Gregory.

In 2010, he was cast as the main character in the AMC horror-drama television series The Walking Dead as Carl Grimes son of policeman Rick Grimes. The series gets the most viewed series from season three to season six.
