Arena, while working with her then-manager, Ralph Carr, fell in love with him. They got married in December 1995. But they got divorced in 1999.

When Arena moved to Paris, she met a French artist named Vincent Mancini. They have been together ever since and even have a child together. Her son's name is Gabriel Joseph Mancini, born in 2005. The family moved to Australia in 2012 and lives together.
