From 1993 to 1999, Harrison worked as a sports reporter at CBS affiliate KWTV in Oklahoma City. He also had brief stints at TVG Network, a horse racing channel, and hosted the Designers' Challenge on HGTV. In 2001, Harrison took on the hosting role for the short-lived game show Mall Masters on GSN.
In the year 2002, Harrison made a guest appearance on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, playing the role of a music show host in the episode "Ping, Ping a Song."
