This marked the inception of his acting journey, with subsequent involvements including modest roles in Journeyman and a range of independent films.

By 2008, Hentschel's determination led him to craft his creative endeavors. His inaugural project materialized as the short film "Who is Bobby Domino," a pivotal juncture where he crossed paths with his production collaborator, Jesse Grace. This collaboration sparked a cascade of further short film productions, many of which attained recognition in esteemed global film festivals and secured numerous accolades. In the year 2009, Hentschel embraced a unique opportunity as a go-go dancer in the installation "Untitled (Go-Go Dancing Platform)" by artist Felix Gonzalez-Torres, hosted at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles.

Around the same time, in 2009, Falk achieved a milestone by landing his inaugural high-budget cinematic role as Bernhard, the assassin, alongside Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in "Knight and Day." Falk also portrayed the character of a drug addict "Richard Conway" for the famous TNT's series, "The Closer," starring Kyra Sedgwick.

The year 2011 witnessed Hentschel's collaboration with singer Justin Bieber in the "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" episode titled "Targets of Obsession." Additionally, he made a prominent appearance in an episode of "NCIS: Los Angeles" entitled "Archangel."
