Quavo was born on April 2, 1991, in Athens, Georgia. His mother’s name is Lilian Janet Bird who was a hairdresser and his father’s name is Frank Morely who died when he was four years old. He was raised by his mother in Gwinnett County with his cousin Kiari and nephew Kirshnik.

He attended Berkmar High School and he was the starting quarterback of his school’s football team in his senior year during the 2009 season. After finishing the football season for his senior year, he was dropped out of Berkmar High School after the months before his graduation.
