J.J is the first NFL player to record two 20 sack seasons. He officially began his professional football career by signing a four-year contract worth $11.24 million with the Houston Texans. In the year 2011, J.J entered the ‘NFL Draft’ as the best player in all fields, with the exception of the 40-yard dash. In the same year, J.J was offered a four-year contract by the Houston Texans. He was voted 'Texans Team Rookie of the Year'. The year 2012 was one of the most successful years in J.J's career as he got 69 solo tackles, 12 assisted tackles, 20.5 sacks, 4 forced fumbles, and 2 fumble recoveries.
